In the first five editions of MonoFest, the first of which was held in 2015, from 20 countries -Greece, Armenia, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Germany, Netherlands, Israel, Jordan, Japan, England, Italy, USA, Brazil, Denmark, Australia, India, South Korea, Mozambique. , Portugal and Turkey – brought together 60 plays in total with the audience. In 2019, MedFest was held as a rehearsal festival and 13 plays met with the audience.
MonoFest has been rated as the most important solo performance festival in the world by both the participating artists and the audience.
The Stoa Center for Body Arts and Studies, which organizes and hosts the Festival, was built in 2012 in an old Greek village on the Aegean coast of Turkey, very close to the ancient city of Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary.
Stoa offers to artists three-night full board accommodation.
